Harvest Solutions Farm
Harvest Solutions Farm, located on 45 acres in Irvine, was started in August 2021. The Farm is a partnership between Second Harvest Food Bank, the UC South Coast Research & Extension Center, OC Produce, SFUA and the OC Farm Bureau. It is an integral part of our nutrition strategy and typically provides 40,000-50,000 pounds of fresh produce every week for those in need in Orange County.
All produce grown at Harvest Solutions Farm is grown specifically for Second Harvest Food Bank. SFUA provides the farming expertise, supplies and management to enable this program.
Since it's inception, the HSF has been blessed with over 11,000 Second Harvest Food Bank volunteers that plant weed and harvest the crops. The success of this projected relies on this incredible support to help end hunger in our community.
